As I started researching this topic some years back, there was really not a lot of information on the numbers and other statistics about digital nomads. Now when you google “digital nomadism + statistics”, you get links to several reports and surveys that have been conducted.

Still, some difficulties in estimating the accurate numbers of digital nomads remain. One such challenges lies in the difficulty to define who is a digital nomad and who is not. Nevertheless, I have compiled here a list of statistics I have found so far (the links open to a new window):
